Just when you thought Disney is done teasing you with bits and pieces of Star Wars: The Force Awakens after its release of the official trailer on Oct 19, new movie footage came up for fans to forage over and feed their curiosity thanks to Walt Disney Japan’s YouTube account.

The structure of the Japan-released trailer is the same as the US release but it includes never-before-seen sequences and dialogues, which gives us a better look at Rey (Daisy Ridley) and supports her prominent placing in the theatrical poster released last month on the official website. The trailer still starts with Rey in the desert planet of Jakku and we already know from the official trailer that she’s scavenging a downed star destroyer, but the newest trailer includes a wind-angle shot of it from the outside showing off the ship’s impressive size. There’s that exchange between Rey and Star War’s ball of cuteness BB-8, in which Ray said, “I know all about waiting” and then responding to BB-8’s blurts “my family.” That’s got to be Han and Leia, right? There’s another dialogue involving Rey but this time with Finn (John Boyega). They exchange names for the first time while on what appears to be the Millennium Falcon. But they’ve been running from explosion and Stormtroopers, so did the Millenium Falcon scene happened before the attack or was there just no time for social niceties earlier? Why even think about that now?

There are also more shots of BB-8, Kylo Ren (Adam Driver), Chewbacca, and a glimpse of C3PO with Princess Leia.  What piqued fans’ interest the most is probably the scene of a terrified Rey face-to-face, quite literally, with Kylo Ren’s crossguard lightsaber (We’re more used to it by now, right?). Did he finally catch up to her? Was he searching for her to begin with?

There have been so much questions and speculations about Star Wars Episode VII. And clips released by Disney since it started dropping teasers in 2014 are just begging for more questions. No matter how many trailers and footages come out, fans will never get their answer until they see the entire movie on Dec 18 (Dec 17 for Manila). With only a month to go, this is going to be the longest month for Star Wars fans and enthusiasts.
