Young and upcoming sculptor Alab Pagarigan mounts his first solo exhibition at the Pinto Art Museum from October 18 to November 11, 2015.
Titled “In Between,” Pagarigan says the exhibit focuses on that decisive time in an individual’s life wherein one thinks deeply, checks his emotions or weighs the moral consequences—in other words, a period of introspection—in order to be able to choose the right path to take. It can be compared to a period of calm before the tempest.
Pagarigan studied art both at the Philippine High School for the Arts and the College of Fine Arts at the University of the Philippines Diliman.
