With the supposed leaked video of Adele’s Hello without autotune, and because of the nature of the Internet in general, the first question I asked when I played the video was “Is this for real?”
This South Korean girl’s voice sounded as impressive as Adele and I even thought she was lip-syncing until about halfway through. Shortly after, at 2:24, she hit the second chorus and owned the song.
More than her ability to hit the right notes, it’s amazing how at a young age, she can convey such strong emotions the way Adele perfectly does. And so she left YouTube reeling to the point that some even preferred her cover to the original.
There had been other covers of the song since the single came out and the music video was released two weeks ago, but this is by far the best, at least says the Internet. The video has reached 1 million views in just one day and another million and a half after two days.
