The Clubhouse at Robinson’s Magnolia Will Make You Feel at Home

After a stressful week at work, this cute, homey, and dainty restaurant will surely relax your senses. This place is located near the parking entrance of Robinson’s Magnolia, which makes it a bit hard to notice if you’re strolling inside the mall. Its private spot makes it like a ~secret~ haven for your artsy needs.

The Clubhouse Dip Trio (Php 265.00)

“Our signature homemade cheese dips: creamy spinach, crab artichoke, and cheesy mushroom served with a pile of crisp toasts.”

The cheesy mushroom dip is our favorite. It tasted like carbonara sauce, but creamier and cheesier! Imagine that! The creamy spinach ranks second, and coming in last, the crab artichoke which had a lemony sour taste. The bread was perfectly crunchy.

We asked the waiter what the best-sellers were, and he recommended the following dishes:

Cheesy Chicken Parmigiana (Php 245.00 for Ala Carte, Php 295 for Set)

“Hand-breaded chicken breast fillet topped with our homemade fresh tomato sauce and gooey mozzarella cheese.”

By the way, set includes buttered veggies and rice.

The chicken meat was tough, hard to chew, but the sauce (oooh the sauce!) was absolutely delightful. The mouthwatering combination of tomato sauce and mozzarella cheese had that creamy, sweet, sour, and savory taste.

 

 

Beef and Mushroom Salpicao (Php 295.00 for Ala Carte, Php 345.00 for Set)

“Tender chunks of beef, sautéed with mushrooms, garlic and olive oil.”

Like the chicken meat, the beef was also difficult to chomp. It was undeniably flavorful, though. The umami taste of soy sauce doesn’t overpower the whole dish, which is a good thing.

 

 

Creamy Chicken Mushroom Pesto (Php 295.00)

“Chunks of chicken and fresh sautéed mushrooms toasted in penne noodles and a creamy pesto sauce.”

The penne was excellently al dente. Every piece of pasta was coated with rich, smooth, and creamy pesto sauce. Served with garlic bread.

 

 

Overall, the experience was enjoyable. Prices were VAT inclusive, but there’s a 10% service charge.
